By relying on a sale deed dated 22.06.1998 and the decree in O.S.No.121 of 2014, the petitioner had applied for the mutation of the patta. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for both the respondents. He submits that the Tahsildar, Theni Taluk, would consider the petitioner's application and pass orders on merits within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. In view of the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the Tahsildar, Theni Taluk, to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application for patta transfer within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and any other persons concerned.
