Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the retirement benefits amount of Rs.5,94,556/- (Rupees Five Lakhs Ninety four Thousand Five hundred and fifty six only) to the petitioner and to remit the deducted loan amount of Rs. 66,508/- (Rupees Sixty Six thousand Five hundred and eight only) to the Employees Cooperative Thrift and Credit Society, on the basis of the 1/4

petitioner`s representation dated 29.07.2024 and 21.01.2025, within a stipulate time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the counter affidavit filed by the second respondent, wherein there is an admission that the petitioner is entitled to retirement benefits of Rs.5,68,579/- and that he was also aware that the same would be disbursed in installments.

2. In view of the admitted facts, a direction is issued to the respondents to disburse the terminal benefits of Rs.5,68,579/-, by also calculating the interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of superannuation till the date of payment. The said payment shall be made in three equal monthly installments, starting from January 2026.

3. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
