ORDER

This Petition is filed to direct the learned Judicial Magstrate No.1, Tiruchirapalli to dispose the case in C.C. No.829 of 2021 within a time frame.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the case is now posted for judgment on 06.11.2025. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is posted before the Judicial Magistrate for the very same reason, that is, "for judgment", since July 2025 and the case status now shows that it has been posted on 06.11.2025 for evidence.

3. It is seen from the record that the case was originally posted for judgment on 28.07.2025 and thereafter, the case is adjourned to 06.11.2025 "for evidence". It is not known as to what evidence is sought to be recorded, after the case was posted for judgment. In any case, this Court is of the view that since the alleged occurrence took place in the 2 /4

year 2018, the learned Magistrate has to dispose of the case, expeditiously and in any event, not later than 28.11.2025.

4. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
