: Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order in Memo.No.6233/VAO-MCD/2010, dated 27.01.2011 on the file of the Respondent No.1 and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to attend the Examination on 20.02.2011, which is conducted by the respondent No.1 for Direct Recruitment to the post of Village Administrative Officers in the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Services for the year 200910 and consequently allow him to participate in the recruitment process and appoint him as Village Administrative Officer with consequential benefits along with his batch mates and pass appropriate orders.

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Chennai informing him that the petitioner has been selected for the post of Village Administrative Officer in Tamil Nadu Ministerial Services 20092011, under SC - Ex-Serviceman category and he has been allotted to Namakkal District submitted that the prayer in the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

2. Placing on record the Letter No.525/LCD-A2/11, dated 03.04.2013, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
