After filing an appeal seeking cancellation of the patta issued to the fifth respondent before the Revenue Divisional Officer, the petitioner seeks the early disposal thereof.
2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 to 4. By referring to communication dated 21.07.2025, he submits that an inquiry is pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer and that orders would be issued on merits within three (3) months.
3. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider 2/4
and dispose of the petitioner's appeal within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the fifth respondent. Because the merits have not been gone into and in view of the nature of relief claimed, this Writ Petition is being disposed of without notice to the private respondent. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
