ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to secure and produce the petitioner's son, namely S.Pradeep Kumar, before this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.The grandmother of the detenu lodged a complaint on 14.09.2025 before the second respondent and the same was registered in Crime No.430 of 2025 under a 'man missing' case. After investigation, the second respondent filed a status report before this Court.

4.The status report reveals that nearly 45 persons, along with the detenu in this case, went to Papanasam to take a bath. While taking bath, the detenu fell into the river and the incident was also captured on CCTV footage. Though the Forest Department as well as tge Fire Service Department have taken steps to trace the detenu, they have not been able to find him till date. Therefore, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.430 of 2025 and file a final report in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, this Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of.
