Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to promote the petitioner as Executive Engineer (Electrical) by placing him in the panel for promotion to the post of Executive Engineer (Electrical) for 1/4

the year 2021-2022, by fixing his seniority below his immediate senior T.Malarvizhi (Sl.No.66) and above his immediate junior A.Shajhan (S.No. 67), with all attendant service and monetary benefits and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice. ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents to promote the petitioner as Executive Engineer (Electrical) by placing him in the panel for promotion to the post of Executive Engineer (Electrical) for the year 2021-2022, by fixing his seniority below his immediate senior T.Malarvizhi (Sl.No.66) and above his immediate junior A.Shajhan (S.No. 67), with all attendant service and monetary benefits.

2. Even though the petitioner has sought for a positive Mandamus, it is seen that the petitioner has made representation on 06.09.2025 for the very same relief.

3. In view of the same, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
