ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to restore the water tap which is located in Pudumanai 4th street, 11th ward, Sankarankoil Town, Tirunelveli District as public water tap. 2.The first respondent has filed a counter, wherein it is stated as follows:

"It is submitted that the Municipality is providing water supply tap in Pudhumanai 4th street at 11th ward of Sankarankoil Municipality and the public tap is used by public of that area. So far, no complaint was received from the public stating that the second respondent is preventing the general public from taking water from the said tap neither orally nor in written. Only the petitioner is stating that the second respondent is preventing the general public from taking water from the public tap stated in this writ petition regard." 3.Recording the same, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
