PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first and second respondents herein to cancel the patta on the name of the 3 to 9th respondents herein with regard to property in Survey No.50/1B and 51/1B situated at Karikali Village, Gujiliamparai Taluk, Dindigul District based on the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2025. After submitting an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer in relation to the issuance of patta to the respondents 3 to 9 in respect of land in survey No.50/1B and 51/1B, the petitioner seeks the early disposal of such appeal.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2. He submits that the matter is pending before the first respondent and would be disposed of on merits within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the pattadars. 2/4

3. In view of the above submissions of learned Special Government Pleader, it is unnecessary to issue notice to the private respondents in this Writ Petition. Instead, this Writ Petition is disposed of, without making any observations on the merits, by directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the pattadars.
