[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.] Writ of Mandamus filed seeking an order to restrain the first respondent from granting any FL2 licence to the 9th respondent club. 2.Learned Counsel appearing for the 9th respondent states that the application is under the stage of consideration by the first respondent and the Writ Petition filed seeking Mandamus, due to business rivalry. 3.This Court listed the matter for final hearing on earlier occasions but there was no representation for the petitioner. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Counsel sought time for arguing the petition.
4.Learned Counsel appearing for the 9th respondent states that the application for FL2 licence which is pending before the first respondent has to be considered on or before 31st of January or else, the application will get lapsed.
5.We make it clear that the first respondent shall process the application on merits and pass appropriate orders. If any objection either by the writ petitioner or any other person is received, the same may also be considered.
6.With the above observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
