This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner, on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 22.09.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first and second respondents would submit that the petitioner's complaint dated 22.09.2025 was closed on the ground that it pertains to a land dispute.

3. In view of the above submissions, this Court is of the view that the directions, as prayed for by the petitioner in this petition, cannot be issued, and it is for the petitioner to approach the concerned Judicial Magistrate in the manner known to law.

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
