This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to notionally promote the petitioner as Junior Assistant from 10.10.2008 with all consequential benefits accrued thereon.

2.Heard Mr.D.Sadiq Raja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.R.Velmurugan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 3 and Mr.S.Manohar, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.

respondent that the sole petitioner has expired three years back and that the wife of the deceased petitioner has been appointed compassionate grounds in the Respondent Temple. 4.In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. It is open to the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner to re-open the matter, if necessary, by appropriate proceedings in accordance with law. No costs.
