O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to notionally promote the petitioner as Junior Assistant from 10.10.2008 with all consequential benefits accrued thereon.

2.Heard Mr.D.Sadiq Raja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.R.Velmurugan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 3 and Mr.S.Manohar, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.

of the Writ Petition, the petitioner made a representation dated 31.01.2011 to the respondents for the same relief sought in the Writ Petition, which is still not disposed of by the respondents. 4.In the circumstances, it would be appropriate to direct the first respondent to dispassionately consider the said representation dated 31.01.2011 made by the petitioner and pass reasoned orders on merits in accordance with law and communicate the same to the petitioner and file a report of such compliance before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court on or before 31.01.2018.

5.With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
