PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents herein to survey and fix the boundaries in respect of the petitioner's land in S.No.16/19A at L.N.Puram, Alangudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District considering the petitioner's application in 2025/0123/22/012745 dated 15.10.2025 affording adequate police protection by the 4th Respondent within a stipulated time period that may be fixed by this court.

ORDER
By relying on patta No.498 standing in the name of the petitioner, the petitioner, had applied online for survey of the land in S.No.16/19A. The present writ petition relates thereto.
2. On instructions, learned counsel for the petitioner confirms that there is no title dispute relating to the land. She, however, submits that owners of adjacent lands have raised objections in relation to the conduct of a survey.
3. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents 1 to 3 and learned Government Advocate(crl.side) accepts notice for the 4th respondent. Because the online application was made only on 15.10.2025, learned Additional Government Pleader submits that about 4 months is required to process the application in order of seniority. 2/4
4. In the above circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to initiate action on the petitioner's application for survey after issuing notice to the owners of all relevant adjacent lands. Objections, if any, by such persons shall be taken into account before a decision is taken. The entire process shall be concluded within four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
