Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second Respondent to consider Petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2013 in the light of the order dated 18.03.2009 for the issue of patta in the name of the petitioner for survey Nos. 58/6A and 58/6C Melakuyilkudi Village.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.03.2013 for issuance of Patta in respect of Land in S.Nos. 58/6A and 58/6C.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he has submitted a representation dated 04.03.2013 before the second respondent for issuance of Patta. Since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

4. It is seen that the representation of the petitioner is of the year 2013 and the fate of the said representation is not known. However, considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking into account the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the application/representation of the petitioner dated 04.03.2013 and pass suitable orders thereon, if not already passed, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as other interested parties, if any and also upon considering the documents to be produced by the respective parties.

5. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
