COMMON ORDER Seeking to direct the 1st respondent to take appropriate action based on the petitioner's complaint dated 18.08.2025, Crl.O.P(MD)No. 3657 of 2026 is filed.

2. Seeking to direct the Respondents No.1 and 2 to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members from the 3rd respondent and his henchmen by considering his representation dated 18.08.2025 in accordance with law, Crl.O.P(MD)No.18814 of 2025 is filed.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on 04.08.2025, one Danish Kumar and his henchman had trespassed into the petitioner's agricultural land and had set fire to his hut and paddy field, following which the complaint was lodged by the petitioner before the 1st and 2nd respondents. However, no First Information Report is so far registered. Hence, these petitions. 3/7

4. The learned Government Advocate submitted that earlier complaint dated 04.08.2025 seeking police protection was closed. Subsequent complaint which was lodged by the petitioner was also considered and registered F.I.R. He further submitted that the claim of the petitioner that he had given a complaint directly to the 1st and 2nd directly is incorrect. However, he had given a representation to the 1st respondent which was forwarded to the 2nd respondent as current Paper in G2/872/E-11838305/2025, in which proper enquiry was conducted and summon issued to either parties and the same was closed. Subsequently, he had lodged another complaint through registered post to the 1st respondent which was forwarded as current paper to the 2nd respondent, in which summon has been issued to the parties on 19.02.2026 and the parties have appeared on 25.02.2026.

5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the grievous nature of the difficulty which is being faced by the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to give a complaint before the 2nd respondent police forthwith. The 2nd respondent on receiving the same, is directed to issue C.S.R forthwith and thereafter, put both the parties on notice and conduct an enquiry. If the petitioner's title is found to be true, the 2nd respondent is directed to afford necessary police protection on payment of necessary fees in terms of G.O(Ms)No.139, Home (Pol-VIII) Department, dated 04.03.2019.

7. With the above directions, both the Criminal Original Petitions stand disposed of.
