Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other writ or direction in the nature of Writ, directing the Respondent No.3 to treat the persons belonging to Scheduled Caste Category on par with the persons 2/6

belonging to Scheduled Tribe Category in terms of qualifying marks in Teacher Eligibility Text (TET) Examinations conducted by the Respondent No.3 by considering the petitioners representation dated 20.09.2025 within the time stipulated by the Honble Court and pass such other or further orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case and thus render justice.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the Respondent No.3 to treat the persons belonging to Scheduled Caste Category on par with the persons belonging to Scheduled Tribe Category in terms of qualifying marks in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Examinations conducted by the Respondent No.3 by considering the petitioners' representation dated 20.09.2025.

2. Considering the fact that the representation that has been made to the 3rd respondent, who is only a recruiting agency, which acts as per the directions issued by the Government, the petitioners are directed to make a 3/6

representation to the first respondent seeking relaxation in respect of the cut off marks for the scheduled caste candidates on par with the scheduled Tribe candidates, if any such representation is made by the petitioners, the first respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
