Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to remove the encroachment made by the second and third respondents on the public pathway near North Street, Meeavankulam, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District. [Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN,J.] The petitioner submitted a representation dated 25.06.2013 before the Tahsildar, the first respondent herein alleging that the respondents 2 and 3 made certain encroachment on the public pathway near North Street, Meeavankulam, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District. Since follow up action was not taken by the first respondent, the petitioner has come up with the present writ petition.

2. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3.

3. We direct the first respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 25.06.2013, on merits and as per law after giving notice to the respondents 2 and 3. Such exercise shall be completed within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to submit a copy of the representation dated 25.06.2013 along with copy of this order to the first respondent, so as to enable him to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible.

4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
