Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to promote the petitioner to the post of Anganwadi Worker in any of the Anganwadi Centres situated in Virudhunagar, Virudhunagar District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 13.01.2011 within the stipulated period.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to promote the petitioner to the post of Anganwadi Worker in any of the Anganwadi Centres situated in Virudhunagar, Virudhunagar District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 13.01.2011 within the stipulated period.

2.Heard Mr.M.Jothi Basu, learned counsel, appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Pugalendhi, learned Additional Advocate General, appearing for the respondents and perused the affidavit of the petitioner and all the supporting documents filed along with the Writ Petition.

3.It is submitted by the learned Additional Advocate General that after filing of the Writ Petition, the Government of Tamil Nadu by G.O.Ms.No.110, Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme (SW7) https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Department dated 14.05.2012 has issued comprehensive directions regarding the eligibility criteria for the post of ankanwadi worker, mini worker and ankanwadi helper.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would make a fresh representation to the concerned authorities in that regard on the basis of the aforesaid Government orders on or before 15.12.2017.

5.If such representation is made, the competent authority shall consider the same and pass a reasoned orders on merits in accordance with law on or before 31.01.2018.
