PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue separate patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the Nanja lands to an extent of about 0.95.50 Ares (2 acre 36 Cents) Comprised in Survey No.33/3 Attapatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 26.02.2025 and 13.05.2025 within stipulated time fixed by this court. 1/4

ORDER
By relying on sale deed dated 14.08.1980 and Judgment and Decree dated 03.01.2018 in O.S.No.197 of 2013, the petitioner had applied for a separate patta in respect of lands in S.Nos.33/2 and 247/6. On the ground that no action was taken on the request, the petitioner filed W.P.(MD)No.7943 of 2019. The said writ petition was disposed of by order dated 29.04.2019, directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation on merits.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no action was taken inspite of such order. He also points out that even a contempt notice was issued.
3. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for all the respondents. He submits that the petitioner submitted an online application only recently in March 2025. He submits that orders would be issued on merits within three months.

4. The Tahsildar has not issued orders in spite of the earlier order of this court. In these circumstances, the Tahsildar is directed to consider the petitioner's request and pass orders thereon within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
