ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the Respondents 1, 2 and 3 to settle petitioner surrender leave salary so for not given by the Respondent Corporation for 132 days for the value of Rs.1,44,799.00 (Rupees One Lakh forty four thousand seven hundred and ninety nine only) in respect of the years 2011 to 2019 together with interest at the rate of 18 percentage per annum payable from the date for retirement to till the date of actual payment.

Though the petitioner has retired from service on 31.07.2023, the surrender leave salary has not been disbursed to the writ petitioner, despite giving representation to the respondents on 10.09.2025, for disbursing the said benefits. Since the representation has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/4
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

Considering the above said facts, the respondents herein are directed to release the eligible surrender leave salary to the writ petitioner along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum, from the due date till the date of disbursement, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
