ORDER

The petitioner is aggrieved against the proceedings dated 27.07.2010 issued by the- second respondent and consequently sought for a direction to the second respondent to grant patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the properties referred to in the writ petition. 2.Mr.D.Sadiq Raja, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly submitted that even though the petitioner has sought for issuance of patta in respect of the entire extent of lands referred to in the writ petition, he would be satisfied, if the respondents consider for grant of patta in respect of the remaining extent of lands which were not subjected to the land acquisition proceedings.

3. The learned Government Advocate also submitted that the request of the petitioner for grant of patta in respect of the remaining extent of lands which were not subjected to the land acquisition proceedings will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed, within the time stipulated by this Court.

A perusal of the impugned order also shows that the Tahsildar has informed the petitioner that his request for grant of patta will be considered, after the completion of the land acquisition proceedings and payment of compensation in respect of the lands which were the subject matter of land acquisition proceedings.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the Tahsildar, to consider the request for grant of patta in respect of the lands which were not subjected to the land acquisition proceedings and, pass appropriate orders, on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
