ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's application dated 08.10.2025, in Application No.2025/0123/24/020655 dated 02.10.2025, for surveying the property in Survey No.205/11A, measuring 0.2.33 acres, situated at Senkappadai Village, Bit-I, Kallikkudi Taluk, Madurai District, with necessary Police bundobust.

According to the petitioner, he is the lawful owner/pattadar of the property comprised in Survey No.205/11A, measuring 0.2.33 acres, situated at Senkappadai Village, Bit-I, Kallikkudi Taluk, Madurai District. He filed an application dated 08.10.2025 requesting the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct a

survey of the property with necessary Police bundobust. The fourth respondent has objected to conduct survey. However, no action has been taken so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

3. The petitioner contends that the inaction of the respondents 1 to 3 has caused difficulty in protecting his property rights and requires the intervention of this Court.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the application of the petitioner dated 08.10.2025, demarcate the petitioner's land after considering the claims of both parties, and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
