O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by C.V.KARTHIKEYAN,J.) The petition had been filed by a father complaining that his daughter, who was born on 17.12.2006, had been missing on and from 26.09.2025. In this connection, FIR in Crime No.192/2025 had been registered by the 2nd respondent under the caption, 'woman missing'.

2. We had recorded the status report filed relating to the investigation in the order dated 10.11.2025 and we had adjourned the matter to secure the detenue for the hearing date 25.11.2025. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor made a mention that the detenue had been secured and therefore, we have taken up the matter today.

3. The detenue is present. The petitioner is also present along with his sister. The detenue's mother had unfortunately passed away. The detenue has two elder brothers.

4. We had a discussion with her and she is ready to go back with her father, but has some fear We had handed over her custody to the 2/4

father. Her paternal aunt is also present in court. We would however place a request to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor to give necessary instructions to the Inspector of Police, Usilampatti Town Police Station, Madurai District, to make frequent visits to the house of the petitioner to ensure the safety of the detenue. This may continue for a period of four weeks and after personal satisfaction, they may discontinue this. The petitioner/father assured that he would provide further education for his daughter. We hope that he would do so. We wish her well in the future.

5. The Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed with the above observation.
