Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 3rd respondent vide proceedings Na.Ka.Kanimam 1/801-(20)/2025 dated 02.07.2025 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to issue transit pass. Heard both sides.

2. The order impugned in the writ petition is quashed on the ground that the inspection report that is relied upon was not furnished to the petitioner. The matter is remanded to the file of the third respondent to pass order afresh on merits and in accordance with law. Since the petitioner's license had already expired on 06.08.2025, the question of issuing transit pass does not arise at all. Only after the writ petitioner's license is renewed, the petitioners can be issued with transit pass. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
