Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Nos.4 and 5 to not to harass the petitioner's son and petitioner's family members and consequently, to forbear the 4th and 5th respondent from conducting/staging an illegal fake encounter of the petitioner's son on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 10.10.2025.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents 4 and 5 not to harass the petitioner's family members and to forbear them from conducting a fake encounter.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner's son is involved in 46 cases and that there is a warrant pending against him, which has been issued in several cases and that the prayer therefore as sought for cannot be granted.

3.It is needless to say that there cannot be any fake encounter. However, since there is a warrant pending against the petitioner's son in several cases, it cannot be said that the action taken by the respondent police is to harass him. Therefore, the prayer sought for cannot be granted.

4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
