Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order made in Na.Ka.Pi.6/2719/2011 dated Nil/02/2011 (25.02.2011), on the file of the first respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 to appoint the petitioner for the post of Makkalnala Paniyalarkal for the third respondent Panchayat.

ORDER

It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel appearing for the respondents that the post of Makkalnala Paniyalarkal itself was abolished by the Government by way of a policy decision. writ petitioner for appointing her to the said post would not arise.

2. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
