The petitioner had mentioned the name of his father as Ayyadurai in the affidavit and the petition. By enclosing the copy of the Aadhaar and the representation sent to the Tahsildar, it is stated that a typographical error was committed and that the correct name is Appadurai.

2. On examining the Aadhaar and the representation, the contention is liable to be accepted. Therefore, this amendment petition is allowed as prayed for.

3. The Registry is directed to carry out the amendments in the writ petition.
