O R D E R

By relying on sale deeds dated 16.09.2004 (Doc.No.1905/2004), 25.03.2009 (Doc.No.767/2009) and 28.12.2023 (Doc.No.5152/2023), the petitioner had applied for mutation of pattas relating to survey Nos. 155/8A, 154/9C and 159/9 after the death of her husband. The present Writ Petition is filed on the ground that the request for mutation has not been acted upon till date.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for all the respondents. After pointing out that patta Nno.8835 stands in the name of one Sunil Kumar, he submits that an inquiry would be conducted and orders would be passed on merits.

3. On perusal of the three pattas, it is noticeable that patta No.8190 stands exclusively in the name of Justin, who is said to be the late husband of the petitioner. Patta No.7529 is a joint patta standing in the 2/4

names of six persons, including Justin. Patta No.8835 contains the names of five persons, including, Sunil Kumar, son of Sellan. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this was an error and that it should be Justin, son of Sellan. This aspect has to be examined by the Tashildar.

Subject to the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's request for mutation of the above mentioned three pattas and to pass orders thereon within two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the other pattadars. No costs.
