The petitioner had applied for patta transfer on 12.09.2025. The said request was rejected by an order dated 12.09.2025 which is impugned herein. The order is challenged on the ground that it is unreasoned.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for both the respondents.

3. On perusal of the order, the purported reason for rejection is mentioned as 'Rejected'. Undoubtedly, the order is unreasoned and cannot be sustained. Therefore, the order is set aside and the matter is remanded for reconsideration. After providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, a speaking order shall be issued within three (3) months from 2/4

the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
