Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2013 to allot 50% of the houses in the Periyar Ninaivu Samathuvapuram houses in Oormelazhikiyan Panchayat to the homeless downtrodden people of Velayuthapuram Village by cancelling the ineligible persons from the list of proposed beneficiaries for the house and to pass such further or other orders.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) This Writ petition has been filed praying to issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2013 to allot 50% of the houses in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Periyar Ninaivu Samathuvapuram in Oormelazhikiyan Panchayat, to the homeless downtrodden people of Velayuthapuram Village, by cancelling the ineligible persons from the list of proposed beneficiaries.
2.The relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted as such. It is for the Government to decide the issue, as to who are the eligible persons or beneficiaries to get allotment of houses in the said Periyar Ninaivu Samathuvapuram. Besides that, the third respondent has filed a counter stating that the beneficiaries were already allotted houses.
