O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to provide an information as sought by the petitioner dated 21.07.2025 forthwith.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

3. The petitioner initially made an application dated 21.07.2025 to the first respondent seeking certain information. However, the information sought for was not provided. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner filed a first appeal under Section 19 of the Right to Information Act, 2005. Though the appeal was filed, the information sought for by the petitioner was still not furnished. Aggrieved over the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the petitioner has an alternative remedy by way of filing a second appeal in the prescribed format.

5. In response, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner intends to file the second appeal.
