This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.02.2011.
2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing on either side.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that one Rajendran had obtained electricity connection on 15.10.2010 to his house by fabricating the house tax receipts of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation to the first respondent on 21.02.2011 requesting to cancel the electricity connection by pointing out that the same was obtained by misusing the tax receipts and pursuant to the inaction on the part of the first respondent, the present writ petition has been filed for the relief as stated supra.

4.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the representation dated 21.02.2011 submitted by the petitioner may be directed to be considered by the first respondent in a time bound manner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.02.2011 and pass appropriate orders thereon, on its own merits and in accordance with law, if not considered/disposed earlier, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, second respondent as well as other interested parties, if any.
