An assignment order had been issued in favour of the petitioner's mother, Annakodi, on 26.08.2001. On the ground that the patta had not been issued to the petitioner's mother in spite of her request and that she passed away thereafter, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for a direction to update revenue records in relation to survey No.307/6.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. He submits that it is necessary to verify whether the assignment of the house site was revoked or cancelled subsequently before a decision is taken on the petitioner's request. He submits that the order would be issued on merits within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2025 on 2/4

merits within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
