Respondents (R4 impleader vide Court order dated 23.09.2014 in M.P.(MD)No.1 of 2013) PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to hand over the key of the temple Arul Migu Ammaiamman Kovil, North Nalliyampatti, T.Pudhupatti Mazara, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District handed over to the 3rd respondent pursuant to the peace keeping meeting dated 05.04.2007 consequently directing the respondents permit to worship and conduct the festival by the Administrative Committee headed by the petitioner. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to hand over the key of one Arulmigu Ammaiamman Kovil, North Nalliyampatti, T.Pudhupatti Mazara, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District to the third respondent.

2.According to the petitioner, there is a dispute in respect of conducting festival in the above said temple and a peace committee meeting was conducted on 05.04.2007 and it is agreed by the parties in the peace committee meeting that they handed over the key to the third respondent / Tahsildar and the dispute was resolved between the parties amicably in the said meeting and the key also handed over to the third respondent. relating to conducting the festival in the year 2007. Subsequent to that several rounds of litigation had been taken place and several peace committee meeting was held.

Recently, the third respondent/Tahsildar, conducted a peace committee meeting on 26.02.2018. but no settlement has been arrived between the parties in that meeting.

3.In the above circumstances, the prayer sought for by the petitioner in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
