Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct respondent Nos.1 to 5 to conduct the survey in respect of land measuring 12 cents in S.No.87/1B1B, Mukkudal Village, Cheranmahadevi Taluk, Tirunelveli District with the aid of the 6th respondent by considering the petitioner's online application dated 11.08.2025 within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.

By relying on a sale deed dated 13.02.2020, a settlement deed dated 25.06.2020 and patta No.1818, the petitioner had applied for a survey of land in survey No.87/1B1B.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 to 5 and learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) accepts 2/5

notice for the sixth respondent. Based on the written instructions, learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the survey is scheduled on 04.11.2025 at 11:00 a.m.

3. In view thereof, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second to fourth respondents to initiate further action pursuant to the survey notice after putting owners of relevant adjacent lands on notice and considering objections, if any, from them. The entire process shall be concluded within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
