The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for Mandamus that the police should not interfere in the civil matter. According to him, he had also filed a civil suit in respect of the property as against the third respondent's children and suit has been decreed in favour of the petitioner. Thereafter, the third respondent filed an appeal and the same is pending. At this stage, the third respondent has filed a complaint before the respondent police. Based on that, the respondents are interfering with the civil dispute. 2.Learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions submitted that a complaint has been received for land grabbing against the petitioner and therefore, he was called for an enquiry and he also appeared and sought for time for production of documents but without coming back with the documents, straight away has come forward with the present writ petition. He would further submit that they are not harassing the petitioner and they are not interfering with the civil dispute as alleged by the petitioner.
3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader that they are not harassing the petitioner, they are only investigating the criminal complaint and they will not interfere with the civil dispute as alleged by the petitioner, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
