ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 28.08.2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(c), 29(1) and 25 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in Crime No.15 of 2019 in C.C.No.2 of 2020 on the file of the II Additional Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic substances Cases ( Special District Court) Madurai .

2. The case of the prosecution is that the the petitioner herein is said to have found in possession of 21 Kgs of Ganja. Hence, the complaint.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police.

4. Considering the fact that the trial has already been commenced, the chief examination and cross-examination are over, and the case is at the stage of final arguments, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the 2/4

petitioner on bail.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. (S S Y J) 25.11.2025 TRP TO
