This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 herein to cancel the patta issued in favour of the fourth respondent and issue patta to the petitioner in respect of S.No.337/5 at Periyakottai Village, Dindigul district, by considering his representation dated 08.07.2013, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that he has given a representation dated 08.07.2013 to the respondents 1 to 3, seeking to cancel the patta issued in favour of the fourth respondent and also to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the above stated petitioner's property. As the representation of the petitioner is still pending, without passing any orders, the petitioner is before this Court by filing the present writ petition.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the grievance of the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.07.2013 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties. 5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
