ORDER
The petitioner seeks a direction to the third respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members, by considering his representation dated 06.10.2025. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, would submit that an enquiry is pending based on the petitioner's complaint, and it would be completed within a period of four weeks, after issuing notice to the petitioner and 2/4
the respondents 4 to 11 .
3.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 5, 9 to 11 would submit that the dispute is civil in nature and that the petitioner has made exaggerated averments in his complaint.
4.In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court is of the view that the respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry on the petitioner's complaint, which has now been registered in CSR No.315 of 2025, within a period of four weeks, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the respondents 4 to 11. The result of the enquiry shall be communicated to the petitioner as well as the respondents 4 to 11. 5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
