O R D E R

The petitioner in WP.Crl.(MD) No.927 of 2025 has filed this contempt petition that the order passed by this Court in WP. Crl. (MD) No.927 of 2025, dated 29.08.2025 has not been complied with.

2.The petitioner has filed the above writ petition for a Mandamus, to direct the respondent police to provide police protection to excavate the bricks from the bricks kiln, by considering his representation. A representation has been made that there were rival claims for the bricks kiln and the complaint of this petitioner was treated as a petition enquiry in CSR No.357 of 225. Considering the rival submissions made, this Court, by its order, dated 29.08.2025 has directed the respondent police to conduct an enquiry 2/5

on the complaint of this petitioner and conclude the same within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. 3.Now the petitioner has moved this contempt petition that the above order has not been complied with. 4.Mr.P.Kottaichamy, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents submits that this petitioner has lodged a complaint, which was treated as a petition enquiry in CSR No.357 of 2025. The respondent police have conducted an enquiry and found that this petitioner has conducted a brick kiln without any licence and therefore, based on the complaint given by the Village Administrative Officer, Thirupanthurai Village, a criminal case has been registered as against this petitioner and nine others, in Crime No.569 of 2025, for the offence under Section 303(2) of BNS, 2023, on 06.11.2025. A copy of the First Information Report is also placed before this Court.
