ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed challenging the impugned proceedings issued by the second respondent, by which, the second respondent had denied permission to conduct Adal Padal programme on 12.11.2025 and 13.11.2025 at 07.00 p.m., to 11.00 p.m., in connection with Thiruvizha of Arulmigu Sri Mariamman, Sri Kaliamman Thirukvil, S.Melapatti, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would fairly submit that the petitioner may send another representation and the same would be favourably considered in terms of the Circular issued by the Director General of Police in Rc.007301/ Genl.I(1)/2019 dated 09.04.2019.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to send a representation to the respondents for conducting the Adal Padal programme. 2/4

The respondents may thereafter consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
