[Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.] The writ petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the authorities in not clearing the encroachment committed over the pathway in Survey No.78 in Puthupatti Village, Madurai District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.The writ petitioner gave a representation on 13.05.2013 to the District Collector, Madurai. Thereafter, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurai, called upon the Tahsildhar, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai, to take action, if there are encroachments as alleged by the writ petitioner.

3.In these circumstances, this Court directs the third respondent to take appropriate action in accordance with law for removal of the encroachment in question. The third respondent shall issue notice to the encroachers and remove the same. The entire exercise shall be completed with a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.The Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
