ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by G.K. ILANTHIRAIYAN,J.) This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to premature release the petitioner's
brother by name Kamaraj (C.P.No.18644) son of Vadamalai, aged about 52 years now lodged and confined at Central Prison, Trichy District.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 17.09.2025 is under consideration and suitable orders will be passed within a period of twelve weeks.
4. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation, dated 17.09.2025 submitted by the petitioner seeking premature release for her brother, who is now detained in Central Prison, Trichy and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve
(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
