The petitioner seeks a direction to the first respondent to appoint Mr.B.Mohan, Senior Advocate (Enroll. No. MS.354/1979) in Spl.SC.No. 32 of 2023 pending before the learned Special Judge for SC/ST (POA) Act cases Theni District, as per Rule 4(5) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Rules, 1995. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, would submit that the first respondent has considered the petitioner's representation and the same was rejected. He would further submit that the said order would be communicated to the petitioner forthwith.

3.In view of the above submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the rejection order in the manner known to law. No costs.
