PRAYER (in W.P.(MD) No.1281 of 2013): Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records pertaining to amendment made to the notification in National Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship June, 2012 with respect of prescribing aggregate marks for pass in National Eligibility Test by the first respondent and to quash the same as arbitrary and illegal and to consequentially direct the respondents to declare that the petitioner had passed the NET exams by considering her separate minimum prescribed marks for all the three papers under the OBC category as per the original notification and issue the NET Clearance Certificate.

No appearance (in both W.Ps.) C O M M O N O R D E R The amendment made to the notification issued in respect of the National Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship is under challenge in the present writ petitions.

2. It is pertinent to note that the amended eligibility criteria was implemented long back and the process of selection was also concluded. Under these circumstances, the relief sought for in the present writ petitions cannot be granted on account of efflux of time and if at all any grievance exists, it is left open to the writ petitioners to redress their grievance in the manner known to law.
