ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed for direction to the second respondent to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner based on her representation dated 16.10.2025.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the third respondent, who is her father, is forcing her to marry her uncle against her wish; that therefore, she left the house; and that the respondent Police is now harassing the petitioner on the complaint given by the third respondent for 'woman missing'.

3. The petitioner is aged about 23 years and the respondent Police cannot harass her on the complaint of the third respondent. However, the petitioner shall appear before the second respondent on 10.11.2025. On appearance of the petitioner, the second respondent shall close the complaint registered for "woman missing" and shall not interfere in any other dispute between the father and daughter.

4. With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
