After filing an appeal before the first respondent seeking cancellation of patta standing in the name of the fifth respondent, the petitioner seeks the early disposal of such appeal.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2. He submits that the Revenue Divisional Officer would consider and dispose of the appeal on merits within two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing a reasonable opportunity to all parties thereto.

3. In view of the above submissions of learned Special Government Pleader, it is unnecessary to issue notice to the private respondents in this Writ Petition. Instead, without making any observations on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal on merits 2/4

within two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the private respondents herein. No costs.
