ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed for direction to the third respondent not to harass the petitioner and her family members under the guise of the enquiry.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is the wife of the fifth respondent; that the fifth respondent had lodged a complaint stating that the petitioner went missing; that hence, an FIR was registered for woman missing; and that the fifth respondent has also filed H.C.P.(MD).No.1228 of 2025, which is pending before the Division Bench of this Court.

3. Since the petitioner herself would state that she is not in illegal confinement, she may appear before the Division Bench of this Court and state that she is not in illegal custody. If the petitioner fails to appear before the Division Bench, it is open to the respondent Police to take such action in accordance with law.

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
