Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents 1 to 4 herein to take appropriate action to prevent the illegal activities of quarrying and crushing the stones in S.F.Nos.1339/1 and 1339/2 and nearby lands of Nagampalli Village, Aravakurichi Taluk, Karur District in pursuance of the representations dated 24-01-2011 and 09-02-2011. ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that the sixth respondent is carrying on illegal quarrying and crushing stones in S.F.Nos.1339/1 and 1339/2 and nearby lands of Nagampalli Village, Aravakurichi Taluk, Karur District and action should be taken based on the representations dated 24-01-2011 and 09-022011. 2.Mr.R.Murali, learned counsel appearing for the sixth respondent states that despite his best efforts, he is not able to identify the place of the sixth respondent. He further states that the sixth respondent would have abandoned the quarry. That is the issue on fact.
3.The learned Special Government Pleader states that the permission granted to the sixth respondent is valid till 03.06.2017.
4.In such view of the matter, the second and third respondents are directed to look into the complaint of the petitioner and take action in accordance with law, if there is any violation in the process of mining by the sixth respondent. 5.With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
